On Using the I Jing 9 Palace Ba Gua – you should remember the 9 numbers representing 8 trigrams with 5 in the centre representing earth centre.
For those who are interested in FengShui, there is a Walking the 9 Palace Method of using the set above to bless and cleanse a house.
(1) You begin by taking up a position 3 (E) facing the entrance to the house which should be designated as 1 (N).
(2) Choose your favourite mantra and your mudra, chant thrice, as you move your steps to 4 (SE).
(3) Move to 5 (Centre) and repeat your chanting thrice.]
(4) From 5 shift your steps to 6 (NW) repeating the chanting.
(5) From 6 to 7.
(6) From 7 to 8
(7) From 8 to 9
(8) From 9 to 1
(9) From 1 to 2 (End)
Always begin moving from one position to another starting with your left (Yang) foot. As you walk imagine you are leading positive energy into all corners of the room. Walk steadily without the need to hasten your foot steps. You should do this method well if you are familiar with my Walking Meditation exercise using the Om Mani Padme Hum mantra.
I use the favourite mantra Om Mani Padme Hum. You may use any mantra you are familiar with. Or, you may also carry with you a quartz ball or any other strong vibrational stones.
After you have finished with this ritual, you can feel the energy of the whole room become positively enhanced and this will remain so for a long period.
At a higher level, you should also emulate my method of using the power of visualization to do the walking instead of physically.
